Ingersoll Rand has spun off its door hardware and technologies business unit. Starting December 2, 2013, Allegion began trading as a standalone, publicly traded company.

All of the brands that were formerly under the IR umbrella are now offered through Allegion. This includes Schlage, AptiQ, LCN, Steelcraft, Von Duprin, Falcon, and Ives/Glynn-Johnson.
